Full Review

Plus 500 is a multi asset trading platform where you can buy and sell currencies, commodities, stocks, indexes, ETFs in the form of CFDs (CFD service), all from the same platform. They are based in London in the UK and are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Plus500.com does not accept clients from the US.

What sets this broker apart from anyone else is the range of assets that you can invest in. If you are interested in trading individual shares, commodities and indices through CFDs, as well as a large range of forex majors, minors and exotics, then this is a platform you should be investigating.

They have an excellent range of trading platforms too: a Windows desktop app, a web app plus iPhone, iPad and Android apps are all sit in their toolbox.

You’ll need an initial deposit of just €100 to get started after your €25 (or £20) no deposit trial: you can fund your account through Paypal, Visa/MasterCard, MoneyBookers or by wire transfer. Leverage on Plus500 accounts is 50:1 which is lower than many of their competitors, but more than ample we would say. Trade with anything over 1:50, and you run a high risk of wiping your account out if the markets move against you, unless you operate very strict money management controls (experienced traders only in our view).

Plus500 makes their money on the spread, (eg EUR/USD: 2 pips).

Fees
Plus500 allows you to trade when the market is closed. When you trade at these times, a Night Premium is added to each trade. (If you do not hold a position open from 5.00pm to 9.00am EST (Eastern Standard Time) you will not be charged night premiums).
However, if  hold an open position from 5.00pm EST, the night premiumcomes into play.
However, the information on the platform is very transparent and it is very clear what fees are due on any individual trade.

Your capital may be at risk at Plus500- CFD trading for experienced traders.
